Study@BWFC Gifted & Talented Summer School 2004The Study Centre held a Gifted and
Talented Summer School From Friday 27th August to September 3rd 2004. It was
Supported by Bolton EAZ.
written by, Ryan Forster (Turton
High School year 7) and Paul Langstreth (Withins High School year 8).
We completed many challenges and
activities including; building and programming robots, and team challenges such
as Egg Parachute drops in the stadium! We also spent time making movies,
designing CD covers and making music on the computers. We even learnt some
Circus Skills, like juggling, stilt walking and unicycling! One of the biggest
challenges we had to do was to make plan, film and edit our own animated films.
The films were cartoon animations to celebrate the success of Team GB at the
Olympic games. At the end we had an Oscar ceremony and a movie premiere! The
best films were judged by members of BWFC Publicity and Promotions Department. Tah ya all! |
